HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? 

$75 for a one-hour session – typically 15 minutes of talking and 45 minutes of
hypnosis

$150 for a two-hour session – typically 20 minutes of talking and 100 minutes of
hypnosis

Smoking cessation and weight loss clients will receive a free reinforcement tape to
use at home.

Payment is due following each session.  Cash, check or major credit cards are
accepted.

WHY DOES IT WORK?

Hypnosis is a deep state of relaxation where your conscious mind relaxes and allows
the hypnotherapist to speak directly to your subconscious mind.  Your subconscious
mind takes things literally, without questioning or rationalizing.  “What you believe,
you can achieve.”

 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Imagine that the client is the pilot and the hypnotherapist is the copilot.  The hypno-
therapist guides the client and helps him/her to make the desired changes.  The client
must WANT the desired changes to take place in order for hypnosis to be successful
(In other words, the hypnotherapist cannot make the client do anything s/he doesn’t
want to do.)

 

WHAT HYPNOTHERAPY IS AND ISN’T

  • Hypnotherapy IS hypnosis – they are the same thing.

  • Hypnotherapy IS a deep state of relaxation that allows the client’s
    subconscious mind to take in suggestions.

  • Hypnotherapy IS very relaxing – clients feel like they’ve had a 3-hour nap.

  • Hypnotherapy IS a natural state --  you experience it before falling asleep
    each night and as you awake each morning.

 

  • Hypnotherapy ISN’T a truth serum – clients will not share anything they wish to
    keep secret.

  • Hypnotherapy ISN’T amnesia – clients will remember their session.

  • Hypnotherapy ISN’T mind control – clients are always in charge and will only act
    in accordance with their beliefs and value system, even while hypnotized.

CAN ANYONE BE HYPNOTIZED?

Yes, as long as they desire to be hypnotized and are willing to follow directions.

WILL HYPNOTHERAPY WORK WITH CHILDREN?

Absolutely!  Children are perfect candidates for hypnotherapy.  Because young
children’s reasoning abilities are not fully developed, they are more in touch with their
subconscious mind.  They are easily hypnotized as early as seven years of age.  Teens
and young adults are also easily hypnotized, providing they desire to participate and
make changes.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
The initial appointment will take approximately two hours.  Clients will be taught
progressive relaxation techniques and be provided with a personalized tape.

WHY DOES HYPNOSIS WORK?
Hypnosis works because it is possible to reprogram the subconscious mind. "If you
can conceive it in your mind - you can achieve it in life."

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Hypnosis is a state of physical and mental relaxation.  When your mental state
relaxes,  it increases concentration powers 10 times.  Hypnosis is no more than
releasing the super-concentration powers of your own mind.

WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR HYPNOSIS TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
Hypnosis is a cooperative venture between a client and a therapist in a warm,
understanding environment. The therapist merely facilitates the client's wishes,
creating positive motivation and attitudes.

WHAT TECHNIQUES ARE USED TO HELP THE CLIENT RELAX?
Biofeedback - breathing patterns - imagery - metaphor - muscle response.

WHO CAN BE HYPNOTIZED?
Anyone can be taught the techniques.  Some people can develop a sense of trust and
relaxation faster than others.

ARE SELF-INDUCED HYPNOTIC STATES HARD TO ACHIEVE?
Absolutely not; you enter the theta level twice a day - right before you go to sleep
and right after you wake up.  you can train your mind to return to these states.
