Touch is essential for health and well-being. Our programs allow the students
to discover just how the power of touch can affect all levels of a person -
physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. We at the Institute of
Health & Healing, believe this "Touching Experience" needs to begin with
a good understanding of basic techniques. These techniques will be
presented in a way which will allow each student to develop a strong foundation
in massage, esthetics, yoga and bodywork, while at the same time nourishing the student's caring
attitude and unique abilities.
Our Philosophy
The Institute of Health & Healing programs have been created to
provide a well-balanced holistic academic and eclectic approach to the
profession of Massage Therapy, Professional Esthetics, Yoga Teacher Training and
Bodywork. Through this type of academic presentation, the
students will be given a solid technical and physiological foundation on which
to grow. This basic foundation will lead to a variety of other contemporary
massage, esthetics, yoga and bodywork courses which will allow the student to
grow and expand into the type of professional therapist they want to be.

ever-increasing high standard holistic education in the fields of massage
therapy, esthetics, yoga and bodywork.
Our Objective
Our objective at the Institute of Health & Healing is to assist the student
to grow in technical expertise, intuitive application, and compassionate
sensitivity. This allows the student to become the best
therapist / practitioner that they can be.
History of the Institute of Health & Healing
A need was recognized for a facility that would provide care for the whole...
physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
The vision of bringing a total healthcare facility to the area was realized In
1997 when many of the areas finest therapists and instructors began to offer
their field of study and share their knowledge, talents and strengths to form
the Life Enrichment Center, Inc. and the Institute of Health &
Healing.
This Integrated Therapy Clinic offers Professional Skincare (Esthetics) Massage,
Reflexology, Healing Touch, Hypnotherapy, Aromatherapy, Yoga, Stress and
Weight Management, Nutritional Counseling, Ayurveda, among many other holistic approaches.
Holistic services are relatively new
to the area, yet the programs are quickly reaching public attention and
continuing to gain a very large client population. Accordingly, we took the initiative to formulate
a massage, esthetics and yoga school to meet the growing needs of the area. A
core group was created, and this group of professionals developed many of the programs
that we practice today.
These educators and practitioners are dedicated to providing the highest quality
curriculum possible.
